Our Story

Our relationship started in Plymouth. An instant connection was built through the shared love of the ocean and adventure.

Swimming amongst the kelp and seals, BBQ's on the beach and climbing mountains, we formed a strong friendship. Little did we know that one day, that friendship would become something deeper.

In early 2020 we had our first date. Both riddled with Covid unbeknown to us, we struggled through a sweaty and dizzying meal together at Borringdon Hotel and Spa.

Apparently everyone had seen it coming, but for us this was fresh and exciting. We wanted to let our friends know the good news. To which they simply replied "Yeh ok but what are we ordering for breakfast"

COVID struck. Emma moved in with James and his 8 cats. We picked up a cheap boat, and made it our mission to learn a new couple of sports and get rid of the excess cats we had.

Our shared love of water sports, and exploring the ocean has taken us far and wide on lots of adventures with our friends. Now with two cats, both loved possibly more than our respective other halves, we fast forward past surfing Morocco, snorkelling Cenotes in Mexico, and dizzying heights in Phu Quok

In Winter 2024 James asked Emma to marry him.

On the Sand dunes of the National Park in Fuerteventura and with the turquoise ocean as our backdrop, James donned his best shirt and got down on one knee. Emma said YES!

Now moving into a new chapter in our lives, we want to celebrate our relationship and the future that it holds with our closest friends and family. That's you!
